With the“YNKWC” series, I explore the erratic side of life – and the realization that big plans often lead to big disappointments. Inspired by the Buddhist idea that expectation always holds the potential for painful disillusionment, each photo production began with a personal conversation about the phenomenon of making plans.

Not every hope ends in disillusionment – but the more we cling to ideas, the greater the risk of being surprised by reality.

…because in the end, the sky was just a sky!
